ANTIOCH BIBLE FELLOWSHIP is a church founded with the desire to be a model of the church noted in Acts 11:26 wherein it is recorded, "And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." This gathering of believers were noted for their:
1) TEACHING - strong anointed teaching which impacted the lives of those that they came in contact with;
2) SPIRITUAL AND NUMERICAL GROWTH - the astounding rate of growth as many people of all nationalities were added unto the Lord;
3) MISSIONARY ZEAL - the saints at Antioch both recognized the importance of sending and supporting missionaries to reach the world for the glory of God;
4) LOVE FOR JESUS CHRIST - they were first called Christians as no one could doubt their love and devotion for the Lord Jesus Christ.
With this in mind - the ministry and discipleship of ANTIOCH BIBLE FELLOWSHIP realizes that the ministry is devoted solely to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and that any undertaking by the ministry will be at the direction of the Holy Spirit, and in accordance with the Word of God. Also, as with the church found in the book of Acts, the ministry will also be given to prayer and fasting to further ensure that the will of God will be carried out in the midst. Moreover, it shall be the duty of each disciple to do those things that promote unity within the fellowship by refraining from conduct that seeks to produce disharmony and confusion. (Those engaging in such practices that are deemed to be detrimental to the ministry shall be handled according to Matthew 18:15-17).
